This is the new hand animation test to check the quality of the wrist joint and new finger joints with the new material.
We have made lots of progress. I hope to have them all up some time this weekend. We changed the armature creation process. Making a new base skeletons, so we had stopped the original plan in order to optimize creation time and improve not only cost but over all look of the characters. This did set us back in time when it comes to shooting times, however will help in building new characters from ground up. The Aden baby armature has been rebuilt as well to mimic the character designs closer. Also we have changed the eye movement device as well as the skull and jaw bones. now character eyes can be moved from the front and move in different directions to give its animator more range. I think you will be happy to see the major progress that we have made. Sorry that we waited to release more information until we had found all of the solutions, when I post all the new items I would be very grateful if you would let us know how you feel about the new directions. THANKS :)
This is the test sessions with the new facial mechanism and materials. after testing we found a list of changes that we will have done by next week. Deciding to change the eye brows and lips on the facial armature to allow for more expression. This is how the project all began, this is the first armature we had created.
Prop testing with the doctor armature and the baby Aden Armature... Armature testing of baby Aden... all seems good Kevon and I decided that the anchoring system we were using did not suite the way we wanted the characters to walk.. the original support system was in the upper back.. when animating the system would push the armature forward. as if the character was always at a run. I wanted to push the limits of our new system placement... sadly.. the system did not hold up under my bending the rough animating. Here we tried to fix the system by simply adding another pushing area... yet this only complicated the movement in the animation. This is the armature that is going to be Aden's mother. Mrs. VanWick. Original testing of the doctor armature.. first test went well.. but we might want to rethink the support system a bit.
